|Description||The Museum is in a log cabin which was built in 1946. It is located on the Council Camp Stambaugh property and has five rooms. Each room has a separate display and some are changed during the year.
We have over 8,000 items in the museum covering all areas of Boy Scouts including International and National Jamboree items.
We also have some Girl Scout items and foreign Scout items.
The Museum has a store where Scouts can buy historical items at a reasonable price.
A picture show plays continuously on two monitors showing historical pictures going back to 1919. It also includes pictures of Council activities and individual Scout units.
|Other||A video tour has been made of the Museum and I am working on getting it added to our Council Website.|
